What Is A Domain?
A domain is your website’s unique address, like hello.co.za. We advise against lengthy domain names to prevent potential misspelling and ensure your clients easily find you.
What Happens If I Cancel Hosting?
Should you decide to cancel hosting, please provide a 30-day notice. After this period, your website and emails will become inactive. If you wish to transfer, let us know, and we’ll assist in downloading your website and email files for a smooth transition to your new host.
Do I Choose A Template?
While we can calculate a quote for a specific template, our primary focus is to design around the content you provide. Feel free to share websites you admire, and we’ll create a unique design inspired by them, ensuring no content or exact designs are copied to avoid legal issues.
What Platform Do You Use To Design Websites?
We exclusively use WordPress, a user-friendly platform ideal for those who want to make their own updates.
What Happens If I Need Website Changes?
Check out our website maintenance plans here. Simply email us your changes, and we’ll implement them within 48 hours.
We Already Have Hosting, So What Do We Do?
No problem! We design your website on a demo link. Once you’re satisfied, we’ll make it live on your existing domain with your current service provider.
How Long Does It Take?
Turnaround times vary by package. Standard designs take 3-5 working days, Intermediate designs require5- 7 working days, and online stores or custom website development may take 10-15 working days.
I Want A .Com Domain, What Now?
We recommend .com domains only if you have international audiences. These domains come with an additional yearly cost starting at R290 once-off as they are considered top level domains.
Can I Access My Own Website To Do Changes?
Certainly! We provide login credentials for you to access your website. However, any issues that may arise would not be our responsibility. We can restore the website to its last backed-up version when it was in working condition, but if that does not work, we are charging R500 per hour to reinstate the website.
What Do I Need To Get Started?
To kickstart your project, we’ll need your logo, comprehensive “about us” information, details on your services/products, relevant images, location, contact info, and any other information you’d like your clients to know about your business. Let’s begin crafting your unique online presence!
Are there any contracts involved?
Monthly Website Package: 6-month contract
Website Maintenance: 12-month contract
SEO Services: 12-month contract to allow time for measurable results
Social Media Services: Optional contract of either 6 or 12 months, based on your needs
